About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

AGC Glass Europe refurbished its patterned glass production line at the Barevka plant in Czech Republic into a hybrid pilot furnace combining 50% electrification with oxygen-gas combustion as part of the Volta R&D project with Saint-Gobain. The project targets significant direct CO2 emission reductions in flat glass manufacturing and was supported by the EU Innovation Fund. It was inaugurated in February 2025 and is now operational. Evidence: "As part of this R&D project, AGC’s patterned glass production line in Barevka, Czech Republic, will be entirely refurbished into a high performing & state-of-the-art line that targets to be 50% electrified and 50% fired by a combination of oxygen and gas." — https://www.agc.com/en/news/detail/1203721_2814.html
