About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The WCS Redwater CO2 Recovery Unit is a carbon capture facility located at Nutrien's Redwater nitrogen operations in Alberta, Canada, capturing CO2 emissions from hydrogen production. The captured CO2 is transported through the Alberta Carbon Trunk Line (ACTL) for use in enhanced oil recovery and permanent geological storage. Operational since 2020, the project has expanded its capacity, contributing to low-carbon ammonia production and significant emissions reductions.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
