About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
WesCEF's CSBP business installing tertiary abatement catalysts in nitric acid ammonium nitrate (NAAN) plants at Kwinana to reduce nitrous oxide emissions by up to 98 per cent. $32.9 million Commonwealth funding awarded to accelerate installation in two older plants, expected to cut 64,000 tCO2e per year; pilot in third plant supported by state grant. Evidence: "The funding... will be used to install tertiary abatement catalysts in two of its older Nitric Acid Ammonium Nitrate (NAAN) Plants at CSBP’s Kwinana facility, which will reduce the plants’ greenhouse gas emissions by 64,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent per year." — https://wescef.com.au/2024/04/24/commonwealth-funding-to-help-wescef-accelerate-decarbonisation/
