About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Spirit AeroSystems converted its massive Wichita, Kansas headquarters and production facility (12.8 million sq ft, over 75% of global production space) to 100% wind-generated electricity through a long-term agreement with utility Evergy. Power is sourced primarily from the Flat Ridge 3 wind farm (approximately 128-130 MW) in Kingman County, Kansas, owned by a subsidiary of American Electric Power. This on-site contracted renewable energy procurement directly reduces the company's Scope 2 emissions as part of its broader decarbonization strategy targeting 30% absolute Scope 1 and 2 reduction by 2030. Evidence: "Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. (“Spirit” or “Spirit AeroSystems”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SPR), today announced the conversion to 100% wind-generated electricity at the company’s headquarters in Kansas, USA." — https://www.spiritaero.com/pages/release/spirit-aerosystems-converts-to-renewable-energy-in-kansas/
