About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Bayer partnered with Enel North America for a 2.7 MW solar array and 1 MW/2 MWh battery storage system at its vegetable R&D site in Woodland, California. The system generates renewable electricity for on-site use, covering about 70% of the site's needs and supporting Bayer's Scope 2 decarbonization targets. It became operational in January 2024 under a 20-year PPA. Evidence: "In Woodland, Bayer worked with Enel North America to complete a 2.7 MW solar and 1 MW / 2 MWh energy storage system that will power 70 percent of the site’s electrical energy demand." — https://www.bayer.com/en/us/news-stories/solar-energy-projects
