Xiaomi installed a solar roof on its EV manufacturing facility in Beijing's Yizhuang area to generate renewable electricity for on-site use in vehicle production operations. The system produces 16.4 million kWh of clean energy annually, supporting the company's Scope 2 emission reductions as part of its insetting strategy. The factory is operational and produces Xiaomi SU7 EVs.
