About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Pouakai NZ, a subsidiary of 8 Rivers Capital, was developing a zero-emission hydrogen project in Taranaki, New Zealand, planned to come online in 2024 and capture 1 Mt CO2 per year. The project aimed to produce fertilizers, hydrogen, and power using a cryogenic CO2 capture system and the Allam-Fetvedt Cycle, which utilizes high-pressure CO2 instead of steam to store 100% of generated CO2. However, recent developments indicate the project may no longer be active.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
