About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The AgBioEn project is a pioneering commercial-scale biomass-to-liquid (BTL) facility in Katunga, Victoria, Australia, utilizing Fischer-Tropsch synthesis to convert agricultural waste into renewable fuels such as biodiesel and bio-kerosene. It involves gasifying biomass to produce bio-syngas, which is processed into H2 and CO for biofuel production, marking one of the first such large-scale implementations. The project aims to provide sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels, contributing to reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
