About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The AGGREGACO2 project develops the first commercial plant in Europe for producing carbon-negative aggregates by capturing CO2 from Repsol's Petronor refinery and using accelerated carbonation technology from O.C.O Technology to mineralize it with waste residues. This process creates sustainable construction materials, sequestering CO2 permanently and avoiding landfill waste. The plant is designed to produce 56,000 tonnes of eco-aggregates annually, resulting in a net GHG emissions reduction of over 28,000 tCO2e in the first 10 years.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
