About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Antwerp@C is a collaborative initiative by seven leading chemical and energy companies, including INEOS, Air Liquide, BASF, Borealis, ExxonMobil, TotalEnergies, Fluxys, and the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, to develop open-access CO2 transportation and interim storage infrastructure in the Port of Antwerp. The project focuses on capturing industrial CO2 emissions, liquefying and storing them temporarily, and exporting via ships or barges for permanent storage or utilization, aiming to halve the port's CO2 emissions by 2030. The first phase, including a CO2 backbone pipeline network, is currently under construction and expected to become operational by the end of 2026.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
