About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The AgBioEn project was planned as one of the first commercial and large-scale biomass to liquid (BTL) plants utilizing Fischer-Tropsch (FT) synthesis methods. Traditional FT processes used CH4 or coal gasification, but this biomass-based approach gasifies biomass to produce bio-syngas, which is then converted into H2 and CO components in an FT reactor to create biofuels. The facility aimed to turn agricultural waste into renewable fuels, electricity, and other products in Katunga, Australia.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
