About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Bayu-Undan CCS Project, operated by Santos, aims to repurpose the depleted Bayu-Undan gas field in the Timor Sea for carbon storage, with a capacity of up to 10 million tonnes of CO2 per year. CO2 will be captured at a hub in Darwin, Australia, and transported via existing pipelines to the offshore reservoir. This initiative is the first phase of a larger CCS hub strategy in Northern Australia to support decarbonization.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
