About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Beijing Shougang LanzaTech project is a joint venture between LanzaTech, Shougang Group, and TangMing, pioneering the commercial conversion of steel mill waste gases into ethanol via microbial gas fermentation. Located at the Shougang Jingtang Steel Mill in Hebei Province, China, it captures CO and CO2 from blast furnace off-gases to produce 46,000 metric tons of ethanol annually. This initiative reduces greenhouse gas emissions and promotes a circular carbon economy in the iron and steel sector.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
