About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Beccs Stockholm project will create a world-class, full-scale Bio-Energy Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) facility at Stockholm Exergi's existing biomass Combined Heat and Power plant at Värtaverket in Stockholm, Sweden. It combines CO2 capture with heat recovery for greater energy efficiency and permanently stores biogenic CO2 to generate negative emissions. The facility is expected to capture and remove approximately 800,000 metric tons of CO2e annually once operational in 2028.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">20</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">21</argument></grok:render>
