The BioTfueL project develops an innovative process for converting biomass into high-quality biodiesel and bio-jet fuel using gasification of lignocellulosic materials such as agricultural by-products, forest waste, and energy crops. It can also incorporate fossil feedstock to handle seasonal variations. The biomass is torrefied, gasified into syngas, cleaned, and converted into hydrocarbons for fuel production.
