About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The BioTfueL project develops an innovative thermochemical process to convert lignocellulosic biomass, such as agricultural by-products, forest waste, and energy crops, into high-quality biodiesel and bio-jet fuel using gasification and Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. The demonstration plant in Dunkirk, France, processes torrefied biomass into syngas, which is then cleaned, conditioned, and synthesized into hydrocarbons for sustainable fuels. It also allows blending with fossil feedstocks to manage seasonal variations in biomass availability.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
