Boston Metal do Brasil utilizes molten oxide electrolysis (MOE) technology to recover high-value metals from mining waste, such as slag from Mineração Taboca S.A.'s tin mine in Brazil. This deployment enhances metal production while minimizing waste generation and environmental impact. The inaugural facility opened in 2024, paving the way for commercial green steel production by 2026.
