About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

BP Infinia, now under INEOS Aromatics, is an advanced chemical recycling technology that converts hard-to-recycle PET plastic waste, such as colored bottles and black trays, into high-quality recycled feedstocks like rPTA and rMEG through depolymerization. This enables the creation of new PET products with virgin-like quality, promoting a circular economy by diverting waste from landfills and incineration. The process is more efficient than traditional methods, reducing energy use, water consumption, and emissions.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
