About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Brimstone's Rock Refinery technology produces carbon-free Portland cement (ASTM C150) and supplementary cementitious materials from abundant calcium silicate rock, avoiding the CO2 emissions associated with traditional limestone-based processes. The company is currently engineering its first demonstration-scale plant near Reno, Nevada, to co-produce cement, SCM, and alumina, with plans to expand production to include steel, aluminum, and other critical minerals. This innovation targets the cement industry's 7.5% share of global CO2 emissions, enabling low-carbon materials at competitive prices.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
