About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The CalCC project is the first industrial-scale carbon capture initiative for lime production at Lhoist’s Réty plant in Hauts-de-France, France, utilizing Air Liquide’s proprietary Cryocap™ FG technology to capture and purify 95% of CO2 emissions. The captured CO2 will be transported by pipeline to a new terminal in Dunkirk for liquefaction, maritime shipping, and permanent geological storage in the North Sea under the D’Artagnan project. This partnership aims to reduce over 600,000 metric tons of CO2 annually starting in 2028, fostering a low-carbon industrial ecosystem in the Dunkirk region.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
