About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Calix LEILAC Lime Capture for Solar Methanol project is pioneering the world’s first commercial-scale, low-emissions lime production using the innovative LEILAC direct separation technology. This renewably powered carbon capture and utilization demonstration plant in South Australia will capture up to 20,000 tonnes of CO2 annually from the lime manufacturing process. The captured CO2 will be utilized in the adjacent Solar Methanol Project to produce green e-fuels, contributing to decarbonization in the cement and concrete sector.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
