About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Heidelberg Materials and Linde have formed a joint venture named Capture-to-Use (CAP2U) to develop a large-scale carbon capture and utilization facility at the Lengfurt cement plant in Germany. The project, which broke ground in June 2024, uses amine scrubbing technology to capture around 70,000 tonnes of CO2 annually from cement production. The captured CO2 is liquefied and supplied to the chemical and food industries, with the facility becoming operational in 2025.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
