About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Catalina project installs a 500 MW electrolyzer powered by 1.2 GW of directly connected onshore wind (614 MW) and solar (571 MW) generation assets in Aragon, Spain, producing 480,000 tons of renewable hydrogen over its first 10 years of operation (approximately 48,000 tons per year). It supplies renewable hydrogen for green ammonia production to replace imported grey ammonia, decarbonizing the agricultural sector, and has potential to supply RFNBO hydrogen to a petrochemical plant. The project aims to create a hydrogen industrial hub in the Andorra region, fostering job creation in this rural area.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
