About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
CT Quarry is building a first-of-its-kind industrial-scale plant in Almería, Spain, to recycle over 100,000 tonnes of industrial sludge from Cosentino annually into more than 247,000 tonnes of secondary raw materials for construction, glass, and ceramics sectors. The project integrates renewable fuels, electrification, and heat recovery, achieving a 62% GHG emissions reduction compared to the reference scenario and over one million tonnes of CO2 avoided in the first ten years of operation. It advances the circular economy, reduces reliance on virgin materials, and creates jobs in a challenged region.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
