About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

CO2next is an open-access liquid CO2 terminal located at the Maasvlakte in the Port of Rotterdam, designed for the reception, temporary storage, and transit of liquid CO2 via ships and potentially rail. It facilitates the CO2 value chain by connecting industrial emitters to permanent storage sites in the North Sea through projects like Aramis, supporting decarbonization efforts. The project aims to enable a CO2-neutral port by 2050 and aligns with Dutch climate goals and the European Green Deal.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
