About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The BIOZIN project aims to build the world’s first commercial-scale drop-in biofuel production facility in Åmli, Norway, utilising Shell’s proprietary IH2® technology to convert sustainable organic waste from forestry and sawmills into renewable transportation fuels. It plans to annually produce 30 kt of zero-emission jet fuel, 11 kt diesel, 55 kt gasoline, and 70 kt biochar using a continuous catalytic thermochemical process.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">51</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">63</argument></grok:render>
