About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The CRI Finnfjord e-Methanol Plant is a joint venture between Carbon Recycling International (CRI), Statkraft, and Finnfjord AS to produce 100,000 tonnes of e-methanol annually in Finnfjord, Norway. The facility will utilize CO2 captured from the emissions of the adjacent Finnfjord ferrosilicon plant and green hydrogen generated from renewable electricity via electrolysis. This project supports decarbonization in the chemicals and plastics sector by providing a sustainable alternative to fossil-based methanol for fuels and chemicals.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
