About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited partnered with Carbon Clean Solutions in 2019 to develop a large-scale carbon capture plant at its Ariyalur cement facility in Tamil Nadu, India, aiming to capture 0.5 million tons of CO2 annually using the CDRMax chemical absorption technology. The project seeks to demonstrate full capture of cement kiln emissions and contribute to India's decarbonization efforts. A 2021 Asian Development Bank prefeasibility study affirmed technical feasibility despite cost hurdles, but as of 2025, no construction updates have been reported.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
