About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited is collaborating with Carbon Clean Solutions to develop a large-scale carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) demonstration plant at its cement facility in Tamil Nadu, India, targeting an annual capture of 500,000 metric tons of CO2 using the CDRMax chemical absorption process. The initiative, first announced in 2019, completed a prefeasibility study in 2021 with support from the Asian Development Bank, addressing cost challenges while demonstrating feasibility. As part of India's 2025 national CCU testbeds program, the project advances toward implementation to support the cement industry's decarbonization efforts.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
