About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

DOW's Green MeOH project is a demonstration initiative to produce renewable methanol by combining captured CO2 from a gas-fired power plant with electrolytic hydrogen produced using variable renewables, located at the DOW site in Stade near Hamburg, Germany. The project received funding from the German Government in 2019 as part of real-world laboratories for the energy transition. It aims to produce 42 kt of methanol per year, contributing to decarbonization in the chemicals sector.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
