About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The ArcelorMittal coating plant in Contrisson, France, implements electron beam/UV curing technology on coil coating lines to cross-link solvent-free paints without gas-fired ovens or incineration, reducing carbon footprint, energy consumption, and VOC emissions while boosting productivity. This first industrial application in Europe on steel substrates was developed over 13 years with Liege research center and entered operation in early 2023 as a demonstrator, with plans for expansion to other lines.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
