About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
LafargeHolcim España, Carbon Clean, and Sistemas de Calor have created ECCO2, a joint venture for developing an advanced CO2 capture plant at the Carboneras cement factory in Almería, Spain. The project, initiated in late 2020, focuses on capturing CO2 emissions from cement production using chemical absorption technology with partial capture rates under 20%. The captured CO2 is intended for utilization in local agriculture to boost crop productivity and benefits for the community.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
