About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Renergi project in Collie, Western Australia, employs patented grinding pyrolysis technology to process 4,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste and 8,000 tonnes of forestry and agricultural residues per year into biochar, bio-oil, and syngas. This operational demonstration facility, established in partnership with the Shire of Collie and supported by ARENA funding, diverts waste from landfills, generates renewable energy, and promotes carbon sequestration through biochar production. The initiative contributes to sustainable waste management and is estimated to avoid 18,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
