About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Puertollano green hydrogen project is a collaboration between Fertiberia and Iberdrola in Puertollano, Spain. A 20 MW electrolyser came online in 2021, marking the first successfully operating project at full commercial scale for green ammonia production using electrolytic hydrogen from variable renewables. Additional expansions are planned to reach a total of 800 MW electrolysis capacity by 2027, aiming to decarbonize the overall ammonia production in the country.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
