About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The GAP project develops a large-scale green ammonia production plant in Norway using renewable hydropower for electrolysis to produce approximately 225,000 tonnes of green ammonia per year. First production is targeted for 2027, with the ammonia shipped to European markets, creating one of Europe's first green ammonia value chains. The project avoids more than 1.7 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions over a 5-year operation period, equivalent to about 340,000 tonnes annually.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
