About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The FENICE project establishes a new photovoltaic (PV) module production factory in Italy, specializing in n-Type and xBC (Back Contact) technologies for high-efficiency modules exceeding 24% efficiency. It plans to produce up to 7.6 GWp over its first ten years, avoiding 2.5 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions and reducing module carbon footprint below 400 kgCO2e/kWp. The initiative revives the European PV supply chain, creates over 250 direct jobs, and enhances energy security.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
