About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
GALLICAM aims to repurpose the Sandouville refinery in France to produce precursor Cathode Active Material (pCAM) using an innovative hydrochloric acid-based process from mixed hydroxide precipitate or black mass, enabling a circular economy with low carbon footprint. The project simplifies production steps, recirculates effluents, and at full capacity will support 16 GWh of NMC batteries annually for electric vehicles. Over 10 years, it is expected to avoid approximately 7 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent by displacing internal combustion engine vehicles.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">0</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">30</argument></grok:render>
