About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

GeZero is a pioneering full-chain CCS project at Heidelberg Materials' cement plant in Geseke, Germany, featuring a second-generation oxyfuel kiln, air separation unit, and cryogenic processing to capture 700,000 tonnes of CO2e annually. The CO2 will be liquefied, transported by rail to Wilhelmshaven, and stored permanently under the North Sea. It aims to achieve net carbon negative status, powered by renewables including a solar farm, and serve as a CO2 hub for regional emitters.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
