About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Green CCU Hub Aalborg is a pioneering project in Denmark focused on carbon capture and utilization (CCU) to produce green e-methanol. It captures CO2 from industrial sources, such as cement production at Aalborg Portland, and combines it with green hydrogen produced via electrolysis using renewable energy to synthesize sustainable methanol for use in transport and other sectors. The initiative aims to scale up to 75,000 tons of e-methanol production annually, contributing to the decarbonization of hard-to-abate industries and the transport sector.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
