About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The GREENH2ATLANTIC (GH2A) project develops and operates a 100 MW electrolyser in Sines, Portugal, producing over 113,000 tonnes of renewable hydrogen annually while avoiding 100% relative GHG emissions. It repurposes a decommissioned coal-fired power plant into a hydrogen hub, using an AI-enhanced management system to integrate renewable energy sources and blend hydrogen into the natural gas grid at unprecedented scale. Over the first ten years, it will avoid 765,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions, supporting EU decarbonization and creating a replicable model for global hydrogen production.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
