About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The GreenMeOH project, led by DOW, is a demonstration initiative to produce renewable methanol by combining captured CO2 from a gas power plant with electrolytic hydrogen produced using variable renewables. Located near Hamburg in Stade, Germany, the project received funding from the German Government in 2019. It aims to produce 42 kt of methanol per year, contributing to decarbonization in the chemicals sector.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
