About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

H2-GIGA is an innovative project developing scalable production of high-efficiency electrodes and insourcing nickel-foam manufacturing for high-pressure alkaline electrolysers used in green hydrogen production. Located in Denmark, the facility will produce electrodes sufficient for at least 0.5 GW of electrolyser capacity, with expansion to 1 GW planned, reducing import dependency and supporting EU decarbonization goals. It aligns with the European Green Deal, Net-Zero Industry Act, and REPowerEU by enabling efficient green hydrogen for heavy industries.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
