About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

H2-GIGA is an innovative project focused on large-scale production of high-efficiency electrodes for high-pressure alkaline electrolysis-based hydrogen production, including insourcing nickel-foam manufacturing. Located in Randers, Denmark, the facility will produce electrodes sufficient for at least 0.5 GW of electrolyser capacity, with plans to expand to 1 GW, reducing dependency on imports and supporting EU green hydrogen supply chains. Aligned with the European Green Deal and Net-Zero Industry Act, it will create 70 direct jobs and contribute to decarbonization of heavy industries.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
