About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The H2Future project features a 6 MW electrolyser at the Voestalpine steel plant in Austria, producing green hydrogen from renewable electricity for injection into the blast furnace, thereby reducing CO2 emissions in steel production. Operational since 2019, it is the world's largest pilot plant of its kind, demonstrating industrial-scale green hydrogen application. The initiative supports the transition to low-carbon steel manufacturing by validating hydrogen blending technologies.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
