About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

H2M Eemshaven establishes a first-of-a-kind low-carbon hydrogen production facility in Eemshaven, Netherlands, using a single-train Autothermal Reforming (ATR) process to produce 210,000 tonnes of hydrogen per year with over 95% CO2 capture for permanent storage offshore Norway. The low-carbon hydrogen (under 1.5 kg CO2/kg H2) will replace natural gas in hard-to-abate industries like steel and chemicals in the Netherlands and Germany, kickstarting the hydrogen value chain. The project avoids almost 13 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent over its first ten years, equivalent to emissions from 3 million petrol cars annually.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
