About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The H2Stahl real laboratory in Duisburg, Germany, aims to convert the steel industry to hydrogen technologies for significant CO2 emission reductions at Europe's largest steel location. It industrially tests hydrogen injection into blast furnaces as a bridging technology, partially replacing carbon and expecting approximately 20% CO2 reduction. Additionally, it explores direct reduction of iron ore with hydrogen for long-term transformation, alongside regulatory and socio-ecological framework development.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
