About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Heidelberg Materials, together with the Australian technology company Calix and a European consortium, is building a demonstration facility integrated into its Ennigerloh cement plant in Germany as part of the LEILAC 2 project. The installation is designed to capture 20% of the cement plant's CO2 emissions, corresponding to around 100,000 metric tons of CO2 per year. The project, relocated from Hanover, is currently under construction with commissioning expected in mid-2026.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
