About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Helexio line project develops the first full-scale plant to manufacture 'ready-to-plug-in' Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) roofing steel envelopes for Europe's non-residential buildings renovation market. This innovative, lightweight, and flexible solution integrates solar PV directly into steel roofs, overcoming structural, installation, and economic barriers while reducing GHG emissions. The project enables production of up to 12m modules, with planned deployment avoiding approximately 170,000 tCO2 over the first 10 years.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">0</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">60</argument></grok:render>
