About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

HIF Haru Oni is the world's first operational e-Fuels production facility, located in the Magallanes region of southern Chile. The Phase 1 demonstration plant uses renewable wind energy to produce green hydrogen via electrolysis and captures CO2 to synthesize synthetic fuels like e-methanol and e-gasoline through methanol-to-gasoline technology. Operational since December 2022, it produces approximately 130,000 liters of e-fuels annually and is scaling up with direct air capture integration, targeting a CO2 utilization capacity of 0.23 million tons per year by 2025.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
