About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The HIF Matagorda e-Fuels Facility is a pioneering project by HIF Global to produce synthetic e-fuels using renewable energy and direct air capture technology. Located in Matagorda County, Texas, it will generate 1.4 million tons of e-Methanol annually from green hydrogen and captured CO2, which can be refined into e-SAF, e-Gasoline, or used directly as shipping fuel. The facility aims to start operations in 2027, recycling 2 million tons of CO2 per year.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
